Our certified-organic honey-processed Dominican Republic Red Honey coffee has notes of hazelnut, cherry and vanilla with balanced acidity, a supple body and a clean finish. Translation: it's delicious!

This direct-trade coffee is grown on the Ramirez Estate, an environmentally and socially conscious family-owned business that creates natural gas from fermented coffee cherries to power part of their operation. They've also built and funded a rural school and have supplied books and computers to additional schools. Our importing partner, Cafe Kreyol, pays about 300% higher wages to this estate "for their exceptional care of the environment, organic certification, care for local Haitian immigrants, and high cupping scores." Cafe Kreyol's mission is "to alleviate poverty in rural coffee growing regions, one cup at a time." We share this mission.
