This Fair Trade and Organic certified coffee is a blend from more than 1000 smallholder producers–a third of whom are women–who farm a mixture of coffee, honey and sugar. The coop promotes using natural resources sustainably. Because of the success of these growers, they’ve been able to finance many projects in local communities, including improving and expanding schools, establishing a revolving loan fund for women, building school gardens, and starting animal husbandry projects. Hundreds of families have been able to benefit from these projects, including community members who aren’t members of the coop.
